100 Women Who Care Beaufort Nomination Form

Only members of 100 Women Who Care are allowed to nominate an organization.  Members do not need to be an active participant in the organization they are nominating. An alternate member can be identified to present on the nominating form in case the primary member is unable to attend.

So that you are fully prepared with the key information you need to present if your name is called, we require that you use our nomination form, which you can download by clicking the link above.  All nominations, whether new or resubmitted, are due one week in advance of each quarterly meeting. Here are a few instructions and helpful hints for nominating organizations and using the form:

  1. The form must be submitted one week in advance of each quarterly meeting.  New nominations need to be submitted two weeks in advance of each quarterly meeting. You can e-mail it to 100wwcbeaufort@gmail.com or send it via mail to P.O. Box 2579, Beaufort, SC 29901.
  2. The information should be obtained from the organization’s Executive Director or other Board Member or Administrator, not from your own personal knowledge.
  3. If you’ve previously submitted a form, a new form is required prior to the meeting if information has changed.

Upon arrival at the meeting, you will be given a slip of paper – please put your name and the name of one organization you are prepared to represent.  One at a time, names will be drawn randomly from a basket and the person whose name is on the slip of paper will be asked to present.  Only the person(s) who made the nomination will be allowed to speak. We strongly suggest bringing the completed Nomination Form with you to the podium so that you have key information at your fingertips.

Here are some tips on making an effective presentation if you’re selected.
